Big Top Launch into London

On Monday 1st April, Big Top Multimedia travelled to London to spend a very busy couple of days working for Chartered Accountants Worldwide, preparing for the launch of the inaugural Finance & Business2030. This is a key sustainability programme which brings leaders in the city together to help implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The event was hosted by One Young World, Chartered Accountants Worldwide and the City of London Corporation in The Mansion House – the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London – which houses, amongst other historical items, The Harold Samuel Collection of Dutch and Flemish Seventeenth Century Paintings and the five ceremonial City of London swords. The event which was held on 2nd April, was attended by finance professionals from various sectors who came together to develop a plan of action for the community focused on how best to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Keynote speaker, Peter Estlin, Lord Mayor of the City of London, said: “Achieving the 2030 SDGs has to be a global priority. The finance and business community here in the City are uniquely positioned to play a crucial role in accomplishing this. Now, more than ever, we need innovative ideas that draw on the expertise of UK business, so it is essential that we can come together.”
