A relationship that began with an annual report and grew into the GPA’s digital presence.
The challenge
The Gaelic Players Association merged with the Women’s Gaelic Players Association, creating a single body representing inter-county players across both codes — and needing one brand to match. The website predated that merger.
The annual report had its own problem. It was comprehensive and it was text-heavy, which are not the same thing as read.
What we did
We rebuilt gaelicplayers.com in line with the GPA’s new brand guidelines, restructuring the site around the four pillars those guidelines emphasise: representation, welfare, development and equality.
We have produced the GPA’s online annual report every year since 2020. In 2024 it moved from a document to a digital-first, video-led piece of content — built to be found, watched and shared rather than downloaded and filed.
The result
Five years on, the GPA remains a retained client, and the work now spans the website, the annual report and ongoing production.
It doesn’t appear to me to be a client-supplier relationship. It is very much us all working on the one team.
