Audio your audience will actually finish
Audio is the medium an audience forgives least. A thin script survives good pictures; nobody finishes a podcast that sounds like a conference call.
We record in the studio or on location, then handle everything after the red light goes off — editing, mixing and mastering, music and sound design, voiceover, and getting the finished episode onto the platforms your audience already listens on.
We also help with the part most people underestimate: format, running order, and keeping a series alive past the first few episodes. A podcast is a standing commitment, and it is considerably easier to keep when someone else is holding the schedule.

How we work
How an episode gets made
1. Plan the series
Format, running order and a schedule you can actually keep, agreed before anyone opens a microphone. It's the part most people underestimate, so we do it first.
2. Record
In the studio in Dublin, or on location wherever your guests actually are. Clean source audio makes everything that follows better, so we don't rush it.
3. Finish and publish
Editing, mixing and mastering, music and sound design, voiceover where it's needed — then onto the platforms your audience already listens on, with the next episode already in the diary.

Why record it with Big Top
Everything after the red light
Editing, mixing and mastering, music and sound design, voiceover — all handled in-house. Nothing leaves the building once the recording ends.
Six disciplines, one team
The artwork, the website your episodes live on and the clips that promote them come from the same team as the audio. Chartered Accountants Worldwide gets its weekly brand support the same way — from one team.
Built for the long run
A podcast is a standing commitment, and we've spent 25+ years keeping commitments to clients across the public and private sector. We hold the schedule so the series outlives the initial enthusiasm.
FAQ
Common questions
We've never made a podcast before — where do we start?
With format and running order, not equipment. We'll help you shape a series that suits what you have to say and a schedule you can sustain. The recording is the easy part; the plan is what keeps a series alive.
Do we need our own studio or recording equipment?
No. We record in our studio in Dublin or bring the equipment to you on location. If you'd rather record from your own desk, we can advise on a setup that avoids the conference-call sound.
Can you take over a series we've already started?
Yes. Editing, mixing, mastering and distribution can transfer as they stand, and we'll cast an eye over format and running order while we're in there. We work with organisations across the public and private sector and tend to stay on once a series is running.
