yet-to-be.

JoyceWaysThe App includes:

The app allows users to discover James Joyce with Professor Joseph Nugent’s superb introduction to Ulysses. Professor Nugent and  students of Boston College have spent 3 years collecting and collating the information for this top-quality journey along the footsteps of Leopold Bloom.  Big Top Multimedia were delighted to be able to design and build this award winning app.

In over 100 locations, JoyceWays carries you back to the Dublin of 1904. At each point of interest you’ll hear excerpts from Ulysses read by Frank Delaney (NPR called him “the most eloquent man in the world”). At each spot, you’ll be treated to expert criticism, quirky facts, and contemporary photos, advertisements, cartoons, or posters.

The app also allows you to explore 15 of Joyce’s pubs, each with our “Authenticity Ratio.” Follow our Dubliners trail. Or just treat yourself to Senator David Norris’s amazing video of “Nausicaa.”

From 7 Eccles Street to the National Library, from Dublin Castle to Sandymount Strand, we’ve mapped for you the texture of the city Joyce fled, but loved.
